A passion project of mine that quickly turned into a reality after I created the initial concept video to pitch to the Eezy team and my brother Gatlin to see if he would want to help me create it.

Videezy Direct is an add-on for Adobe Premiere Pro that gives you the ability to resource and edit faster than ever before. All without leaving the Premiere Pro environment.

It was very exciting to see the validation this received and that Pond5 and Shutterstock ended up making a similar add-on with their product after. We were first to market which was really fun.

I worked directly with the Videezy development team to create an API that my brother Gatlin Rowe was then able to create the producer panel for Adobe Premiere.

We have many aspirations for this panel and a new version has just been released that enables purchases and license features.

Out of the many ideas that I have drafted up over the years to improve the tools and processes for creators, this is one that I have seen through to its completion. For many years I have wanted to contribute to the creative community by offering tools to increase productivity for my fellow video creators. I knew as soon as I had joined the team at Eezy that this was going to be something I wanted to create.

I am happy to have worked very closely with my brother Gatlin Alan Rowe on this project. We learned a lot about the abilities and restrictions in the Adobe extensions framework.
