Another fantastic example of a client handing over full creative control. I'm very happy with how this entire piece ended up from start to finish. Going into this project I knew the deliverables of the 16x9, 1x1, and 9x16 vertical was going to play a role in how I could setup my scenes. There are a few strong visual concepts that I was able to successfully incorporate into this spot that I am really excited about. The projection of the website and reflection of the water, and the playlist that I had incorporated from a previous spot ended up being cut for timing reasons. Anytime I have a chance to play with Octane renderer, I take full advantage of the power and try to see how realistic I can make my scenes. I am happy with the outcome. Below I am including a different spot that I created for this same client earlier. And yes, that is my voice as this was the version I was happiest with before we ended up rearranging and cutting pieces back to fit as the script was being reworked.

This year, on my birthday, I had the chance to experience the magic of Star Wars on an overnight shoot with my son Jace. He helped me do the screen test for the hologram effects and was played an instrumental role in helping me to dial in the hologram effects and the robo-deejay breaking down the scene. Overall this was one of my favorite projects ever and a huge Shoutout to the Director and good longtime friend Rob Micai for making it all possible. May the force be with you.

The opportunity to have 100% creative control of the vision of a project is rare and at this magnitude it is unheard of. So I was really excited to let my creative freedom shine with this intro video for Nadeshot given the opportunity to have full control and trust. Inspired by modern, clean, design trends and the 100 Thieves swagger, I was motivated to tell the story of his rise to the top of esports through perseverance - it was a special story to tell through conceptual designs. I animated the CGI in Cinema 4D and the final project was compiled and finished in After Effects. Most importantly this project served as a testing ground for me using OTOY's new RNDR network to render almost instantaneously with 10,000 samples in extremely complex and unoptimized scenes.

When creative freedom is given – you have to run with it. Here is an intro video for a popular League of Legends Streamer that turned into a great opportunity to change my workflow up a bit and test the waters out in Unreal Engine. What a fantastic tool for kitbashing and environment creation. The foliage tool and the rendering engine leveraging the sequencer is a massive game changer when brought into After Effects. I had to get craft with how I tracked the camera and used EXR information to squeeze out some mattes from the passes I rendered from Unreal. The models were created by my talented friend, Jeffrey Halalay, in ZBrush and brought into Element 3D for me to work into my scene. Also wanted to give a shout-out to www.productioncrate.com for having really helpful compositing effects and sound designs.

I had the pleasure of writing/voicing this piece and working alongside an extremely talented team to produce this Black Friday Sale animation for VBI. Such amazing work comes from working together and planning ahead. This was a quick turnaround and I am thrilled with the result. Animator: Julian Sanchez | Sound: Pedro Chediak

Recently created a quick turnaround presentation video to showcase the ultimate FPS Stream Deck Icon pack we have created to give away for free at VBI. The visual design and the concept for this video was sparked from the idea I originally had to scope up and shoot the Stream Deck and have it do the same to us. I am very happy with how this turned out from an idea I had to this.

Here is a quick turnaround product explainer video which includes character creation and animation. There was a great moment on the initial client consultation where we mentioned the idea and briefly explained it and it was a wonderful ah-ha moment for everyone on the call to kick off with confidence. I love when projects can begin and end with momentum!

When projects for great clients require turnarounds that aren’t realistic, it’s time to get creative and source from available design assets and templates online. This awesome Flat World template provided us the ability to get this video completed in 3 days with multiple change rounds. Kudos to lead animator Jeff Halalay for a great sprint.

We created a standalone 3D animated spot for the new Asus Lyra Voice speaker. Working alongside friend and fellow 3D artist Jeff Halalay in Cinema 4D is always a pleasure. Everyone is really happy with the end result.

It’s a funny feeling when you are creating commercials for products that you really want. These super silly spots feature made-up music artist Enzo Martini and how his life wouldn’t be the same without the amazing Asus Lyra Voice smart speaker. Editing these with my brother Derek Alan Rowe was a blast and the motion graphics work really well.

ASUS is doing some exciting things for professional gamers. Here is a promotional spot for their new ROG monitors and GeForce cards. Filmless was awesome on set and the Phantom slow motion camera was a great idea to showcase the comparison.

I remember growing up and watching movies that had the Morgan Creek logo animation in it. That being said this was a great project to work on with Lead Animator Jeff Halalay who did an incredible job making sure we pleased the client.

When projects have this much creative freedom and you get to work with fun a great director and my brother Derek Alan Rowe who was essential coming together to make this spot fantastic!

Once again it was a pleasure working with my friend and fellow animator Jeff Halalay to create an excellent animation with a style we created years ago on our work together for “Lessons From A Tree.” I love when explainers can be clean but also beautiful.

After many different versions, various music beds, and color options, here is the final delivered video for the Staypineapple commercial. My brother Derek Alan Rowe was lead editor and it was a pleasure again working with Filmless.

There’s a journey with every client to learn how to tell their story in a way that they will appreciate and within their budget. This project was a great effort to achieve an animation within scope of the budget. I decided it would be best if we created a video with pose-driven illustrations and camera movement with depth and parallax.

I really enjoy this type of editing. Connections form quickly and entering a flow state is easily achievable. This is an insightful and inspirational episodic web series created by Nikos Akuña and Filmless. My brother Derek Alan Rowe and I edited the series while blowing through hundreds of clips of stock footage. All my years of Director of Video at Eezy paid off on this project. Additional credit to Maegan Mann for her help editing.

Extremely happy with how the latest spot turned out! It’s hilarious! Great to work with such awesome clients and an amazing producer at Foster Productions.

Every video project has its own interesting creative solutions. Especially when the client has specific ideas in mind. This promotional video has a fun scene while transitioning out of the graphical world into the office and out to the cityscape for the brand identity.
